Functional Stoneware
A fun unique approach for a tumbler. I create finger divots across the surface allowing you a better grip. All are wheel thrown and altered using food safe glazes that are dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. Other designs include handled mugs, sugar bowls and honey pots.
I create both wall sculptures and standalone sculptures using stoneware clay. Passive diffuser sculptures are created with terracotta clay so essential oils will absorb into the clay.
Art You Use Every Day
Stoneware clay is used to create the functional ware, which is glazed using food safe glazes that are dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe. Items include large and small dinner plates, covered casserole dishes, brie bakers, bowls, and mugs.
